***Update*** Thanks for the interest and great messages of support! We found them all a great home!~ L♡ Cougar bait!! Three lovely geese, two chickens, and one rooster FREE to good home. Other flock members became dinner to a cougar making it's way through the area. We would rather not encourage its return and don't have appropriate facilities to ensure the safekeeping of the flock that remains. Take just the chickens, just the geese, or the whole bunch. (All chickens go together, as do all geese). Geese: Todd and the 'Toddlers', Gigi and Kenna-Grace. All coming up one year in late May/early June. Quite friendly and - usually - great watchdogs (they weren't in area of chickens and ducks when those were being picked off by the big kitty...). Todd is very 'chatty' and quite friendly. Loves to hang out with people and tell you about his day. Girls are a little more standoffish, but all will eat from your hand and allow cuddles. Chickens: Colonel Saunders is 3 yr old PB...something. I can't recall just what. Miss Fancy Pants is 2yr old black Orpington stil laying 2-3 eggs/week. Buffy is PB buff Americauna. Three years old and, true to heritage breed, still gives pretty blue eggs (when laying; both are in winter time off atm). Rooster is shy and gentle. Not friendly but not mean. Girls allow for picking up/holding; eat out of your hand. Respect the wildlife and his right to eat, but I have kids, too...
