Mobile Patrol Guard Regional location of the job(s): Victoria and Duncan Hourly wages offered: Starting $14.46-14.82 (common), $15.26 (supervisors) Job Details - Primary function is driving and walking mobile client properties (walking, observing, report writing, interacting with public, etc.) Also responding to alarms in homes and businesses - Securing site and documenting results. Interacting with first responders as needed. Shifts usually 8 hours in length. Setting/Environment: Driving company vehicle, patrolling various sites as well as locking/unlocking certain federal buildings. Number of positions available: 6+ Job Responsibilities Provide superior customer service to clients and general public. Operate company vehicles, and maintaining strict key control at all times. Response to alarms as needed, and documenting incidents accordingly. Provide foot patrols as needed. Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts. Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor. Ensure logs and reports are filled out accurately and professionally Perform all duties with high safety standards. Job Requirements BC Security Licence (mandatory) OFA 1 (mandatory) Able to use cell phone/2-way radio important, and previous security experience an asset. Safe, conscious driving skills important. (Clean driving abstract) Mobile guards must be comfortable working alone, and patrolling at night. Strong report writing, discretion and tact important, especially when dealing with the general public and street people.
