Experienced landscaper / gardener required immediately! I'm seeking an enthusiastic hard working individual to join me for four days per week. Experience is necessary. I am looking for someone with at least three years experience working full time for a landscaping company. I require someone who can stay on with my company through the season. This position is for someone who wants to work in a positive and healthy work environment and will take the initiative to help the company with its goals and organize its work site head quarters. The applicant needs to feel confident in their ability to know their way around gardens and plants. They also need to know how to work on landscape installations and manage time well. This position could lead turn into a landscaping supervisor / foreman position. You must be able to; lift at least 50lbs, handle hard physical work all day, working in the cold & rain, and be approachable and friendly, have a valid BC drivers license and a clean driving record. (A driving abstract may be required) Typical duties are; planting, installing rock, weeding, pruning, hauling green waste, mowing, spreading compost / mulch, transplanting, shoveling various materials, raking etc. We are a landscape design & installation & organic garden maintenance company, we focus on safe and sustainable practices. I'm seeking people that share these values. No smokers. You must be healthy and fit. You are also required to have a mobile phone and your own hand held garden pruners, rain gear and steel toed boots. If you have applied to us before please do so again.
