Experienced landscaper / gardener required immediately! I'm seeking an enthusiastic hard working individual to join me for five days per week. Experience is preferred but I'm happy to teach / train. I require someone who can stay on with my company through the season. I'm seeking either someone who can become our new crew supervisor or someone for a entry level landscaper position. Come join me and I can help to increase your knowledge of; plant identification, soil microbiology & soil amendments, pruning techniques from small herbaceous plants to trees, seasonal plant care, lawn care management, garden bed maintenance techniques, seasonal landscape care, power equipment operations, micro irrigation and installing plants and garden beds and even cut flower production. You must be able to; lift at least 50lbs, handle hard physical work all day, working in the cold & rain, and be approachable and friendly, have a valid BC drivers license and fairly clean driving record. (A driving abstract may be required) Typical duties are; weeding, pruning, hauling green waste, mowing, spreading compost / mulch, planting / transplanting, shoveling various materials, raking etc. We are a organic garden maintenance company, we focus on safe and sustainable practices. I'm seeking people that share these values. No smokers. You must be healthy and fit. You are also required to have a mobile phone and your own hand held garden pruners, rain gear and steel toed boots. If you have applied to us before please do so again.
