Journeyman Cabinet Maker

To support our growth we are seeking a motivated, results- driven individuals to strengthen our production team. Core responsibilities Cabinetmaker: Set up and operate variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools and power tool to fabricate custom millwork and cabinets. Study drawings of articles to be constructed and plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed. Core responsibilities Cabinet-finisher: Prepare wooden surfaces for stain & lacquer finishes Produce stain & lacquer samples Sand, stain and spray architectural millwork & cabinets Perform cabinet shop duties as directed by the shop foreman Meet Company quality standards and deadlines Skills and experience 2 to 5 years experience as a cabinetmaker journeyman CNC Machine and finishing experience a plus Strong work ethics Quality oriented Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Location: Cobble Hill, B.C.
