We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our team of sales reps at our head office in Shawnigan Lake. This position will report to the Sales Manager, provide administrative support to the sales team, and contribute to the effective and smooth running of day to day sales operations which includes order processing, answering incoming calls, and excellent customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as the initial point of contact with customers seeking services and assistance related to sales. - Prepare and process sales orders accurately. - Liaise with warehouse for stock availability and prepare shipping documents. - Resolve product or service problems. - Field calls from distributors and potential customers, assess and resolve/forward the inquiry using knowledge of our products, staff responsibilities, and company policies. - Provide client assistance or direct the customer to the appropriate staff member. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS - Proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands to meet deadlines. - Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team. - Aptitude to learn our product lines. - Capacity to exercise good judgment while making decisions in accordance with established rules, policies and procedures. - Ability to take direction as necessary. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Fluency in QuickBooks and Pipedrive (CRM) is an asset. QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent; candidates with higher education in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred. - One year of experience in customer service. - Exceptional telephone manner. - Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, and training. - Fluency in other languages, particularly Spanish, is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and well-developed communication and organization skills.
