Housekeeper

Imagine working in the middle of an apple orchard Merridale is looking for someone with cleaning and janitorial experience to work Wednesday through Sunday. We are looking for someone that values working on a team, and wants to work in a fun atmosphere. At the Merridale farm, we are a cidery, distillery, eatery and we have 2 yurts in our orchard. We follow an orchard to glass and farm to table concept in everything we do on the farm, and thrive on creating an exceptional experience for our customer. Your role will be to assist with this beauty. Job Type: Full-time Wage: $14 to $15 depending upon experience This is a full-time and year round position. Your shifts will be Wednesday to Sunday with weekends starting at 7 am and finishing around 2 or earlier. We offer extended health benefits, bonuses, and perks. Here's what you will be doing, * Housekeeping duties in the farmhouse - sweeping, floor washroom, dusting & washrooms *Laundry for all areas - cellar, distillery, kitchen and yurts * Cleaning the 2 accommodation units * Setting up for service - assisting with events and weddings Here's what you need, * Experience in housekeeping - Prior cleaning experience is required * Be a self- started & a team player -We all help each other out. You will be an important person on the team *Be physically fit - You will need to be agile and able to lift 20 lbs min * Carry a big smile and have an awesome attitude - A positive outlook is everything *Be able to multi-task - As a multi-faceted business and sometimes very fast pace * A desire to grow - There is room for advancement at Merridale * Be passionate - We want you to be as excited about what we do as we are.
