We look forward to hearing from you. 🍕🍔🥪🥪🥣🍦🍦🍨🍨🍩🎂🍰🍰🧁🍫🍬🍭🍭 Job Description Sales Associate/ Cafe Staff: The Glenora Store and Cafe is a small but proud general store where we carry local products. We are strongly rooted in the locality, with lots of regular customers. Our cafe is a well-known secret and is getting busier every day. Our store is constantly changing to keep things fresh and fun. Our team is a big part of this: everybody has something special to bring to the store. Are you ready to join our team part-time? Values: Customer service oriented, work independently, self-motivated, social, creative. Main Duties Store Clerk: Keep the store building clean, tidy Stock shelves ordering Communicate with other staff Be polite and helpful to the customers. Scoop ice cream Keeping track of daily finances by using calculator and spreadsheets. Updating outside signage Main Duties cafe staff: Keep the cafe and kitchen clean and tidy Make dough, bake cookies and muffins Prepare sweet treats Make sandwiches Make soups and other savoury items Follow recipes Use simple espresso machine Follow food-safe practices Serve customers in a polite and respectful way Communicate with other cafe staff Receive orders Awareness of supplies Other job-related work Employment Requirements: Good social skills, able to follow instructions, work independently, food-safe 1, familiarity with excel, ability to work in a kitchen, familiarity with cash register is preferred, ability to make and upkeep connections with regular customers Food safe 1 is required. Preference given to candidates with availability on Tuesday, Thursday, daytime, evening and weekends.
