OrganicFair is a family-owned, leading organic gourmet food producer looking for energetic and positive people to join our team. We sell organic and fair trade chocolate, soda syrups, and a selection of gourmet food products and essential oils. We believe organic agriculture, direct fair trade, and environmental responsibility are the keystones of sustainability. As part of our fulfillment team you will be responsible for: Shipping and Receiving: - Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product for orders. - Operate Computer Shipping Manifest System, verifying all shipping information and inputting the correct information for the shipment. - Complete shipping procedures and print shipping label for the package. - Update ordering system accurately with work completed. - Verify products received, logging of incoming supplies and ingredients, transfer to designated areas. - Accurately update inventory to reflect shipments. - Maintains quality and organic systems compliance. General: - Print labels for product and packaging items as needed - Support team in completing general warehouse tasks such as cleaning and product assemblage. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications: - General computer competency required. Familiarity with Google docs & Gmail. - Experience with the shopify platform and shipping modules a plus. - Experience with boxing and packaging items for shipment a plus. - Previous warehouse experience a plus. - Must be able to lift and move up to 55 pounds, unassisted and frequently - Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. - Ability to work well with others and independently. - Aptitude for maintaining details - Effective time management and the ability to take initiative. - Must have transportation to and from Cobble Hill. - Must be fluent in English.
