Finance Officer Part Time (noon until 4) - 5 days a week. Updated December 28, 2020 Reporting to the CEO the Finance Officer is responsible for the following: Must Know QuickBooks. * Maintaining Quick books updates, software and use of Quick books * Reconciliations and general ledgers. * Passwords, account access and record keeping with Government agencies * Accounts payables, accounts receivables. * Payroll o Human resources o ROE o CRA o Work safe remittance o Benefits, deductions, taxes, all employee related deductions. o Maintaining Human resources files, holiday pay and resources * Balancing accounts o Month end reconciliation * Questions for CEO, year end, inventory concerns to be discussed with solutions in mind. * Maintain Google Calendar schedules of payments due * Maintaining a minimum bank balance to satisfy payments are made on time and in full. (weekly report to CEO) * Understanding a balanced budget and working with the CEO ,Operations Manager, and Office Administrator for support in following the budgets.
