Robins Nest Childcare in Mill Bay is a licensed family childcare. I will be completing my ECE practicum from September - November and again from January 2020 - April 2020. We are searching for an RA, ECEA or ECE subtitute for 2-3 days a week from 7:30 - 4:30. Start date is flexible beginning mid September. We are an outdoor based program with a small group on 1.7 acres. We are searching for an energetic, reliable and passionate person that will guide and stimulate young minds through daily indoor and outdoor play-based activities. Qualifications required - Responsible Adult or - ECEA valid certificate to practice or - ECE valid certificate to practice AND - Valid/current First Aid (CPR C) - Minimum of 2 references - Valid/Current Criminal Reference Check - Desire to work outside and get dirty (bug handling optional) Wages - $21/hour including wage enhancement - $500 bonus for substituting during both practicums or $200 for substituting during 1 practicum (to be given at the completion of the practicum(s)) Job Duties: - Follow Robins Nest Childcare philosophy - Develop and implement activities in our early childhood setting for children between 18 months - 5 years - Ensure that all children are treated with respect and that the program meets their individual developmental needs. - Daily communication with parents regarding various aspects of care for their children. - Must be able to work alone and in an educator partnership to deliver an exciting and enriching program. - Not great at paperwork?
