I have 3 chicks left from our hatch yesterday, from our friendly flock of heritage birds. The rooster is an australorp, hens are: australorp, barred rock, Easter egger, ameracauna, and copper maran. The chickens are black, grey, orange, white and some are mixed colours. They are a super friendly flock - the hens started laying at 5 months and we usually eat our roosters at 4-5 months.
