$625 · Bionx 48V ebike system (complete)

A complete Bionx 48V system for converting a mtn bike. This system is a little over 2 years old. The assist part of the system works only sporadically, but the throttle works great! This system will appeal to someone who does not need assisted pedaling (as I do!) but could use the throttle to boost up hills. The battery has about 3 dozen charges on it and was never run below 75%. The system includes the battery, battery rail and charger, as well as the RC3 handlebar controller. Replacement value for these individual pieces from Bionx Legacy is $1850. With the right knowledge and tools is is possible to repair this 350W motor, by replacing the stress/strain gauge; this would assist capability. Note the brake disc shown in the picture is not included.
