Assistant Bakery

We are looking for a part-time person for 5 days a week to join our team. These will be 4-5 hrs shifts. This position requires the ability to work at a sustained fast pace, working on your feet for the entire shift. There is some heavy lifting required (up to 22kg). Must be a team player and have an upbeat personality. We do require that you have your own transport, as we are not on a busy bus route. Food Safe is an asset, but not required initially. Training will be provided, but you will need to have a basic knowledge of kitchens & baking. Wages are started at $13.50 / hr while training, but as skills are mastered, the wages will increase. As we are slightly out of town, applicants with a vehicle / reliable transport will be given preference. The shifts would be Tuesday 12-4pm, Wednesday/ Thursday 9-1pm, Friday and Saturday 1.30-4.30 pm We need the right applicant to be able to be flexible if necessary, with the hours required. The job will be involved with packing markets, the baking for the markets and also washing the equipment/ bins used for the markets in preparation for the next market. Salary: $13.50 to $15.00 /hour
