An established family-run lumber firm here in beautiful Chemainus BC is seeking a top Accounting Coordinator to join their Trucking and Transport Division. ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR Opportunity: Full time permanent position Location: Chemainus, BC Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm Salary: $40,000 - 42,000 to start Start: As soon as possible Main Responsibilities; * Creating invoices to customers for trucking, container sales and container rentals * Looking after the Truck Books - filing, ensuring completeness of records * Reconciling Accounts Receivables for container sales and rentals Requirements; * Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable * Excellent working knowledge of Excel - data entry and validation * Ability to perform various account reconciliations and follow-up/troubleshoot/solve variances * Detail oriented and highly organized * Strong communication skills * Knowledge of trucking industry is an advantage Advantages; * Starting salary of $40,000 - 42,000 * Extended health & dental benefits * 2 weeks vacation * Free onsite parking * Open door culture * Work in beautiful Chemainus on Vancouver Island * Opportunity for professional growth within accounting, as part of a medium sized and fast-paced organization If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
