Due to some unforeseen circumstances I am wanting to find my gelding a new forever home. He is a great trail horse, that's all he has ever known. He stands quietly while being groomed, saddled, for Farrier. He trailers like a dream, he is a really good guy. He greets you at the gate when you arrive at the barn, he is an in your back pocket kinda guy. He was a rescue and his only flaw is that he is somewhat herd bound. You can take him away from the other horses no problem and do anything you want with him, the issue is he gets very upset if left behind and will run up and down the fence. He does stop running after a while but is unsettled if left behind. I know that is how he is and that he will quit running but for someone new it might worrisome. I am in no rush, I want to find Ferg the right home. He would do best with someone who will take the time to bond with him, that seems to make him feel safe. If your not willing to take the time to bond with him, then this isn't the horse for you. I have had several different people ride him, including children and he does great with them. He is extremely kind and gentle, and at the bottom of the pecking order in a herd situation. $1500 includes western saddle, saddle pad and hackamore. Located in Duncan.
