This large guy is reserved but sociable, a bit of an introvert. He adores pets, loves being brushed, but sometimes just wants to have some quiet time on his own. Barney is shy at first, and gets worried about loud noises. He would appreciate a quieter home with lots of hiding and perching spots. As a very fluffy boy he will need someone who is willing to help him make sure his coat stays neat and tidy with regular brushing. Barney has lived with another cat, as well as a dog, but was not the best of friends with them. With proper introductions he may be able to live with another very calm, maybe older, cat, or a very calm and polite dog, however we think he would thrive as the only animal in the house and would definitely prefer it.
