Kanah Bookkeeping is seeking two people to join our team. We are a full service bookkeeping firm providing services to diverse business clients on Vancouver Island for over 14 years. We offer • flexible hours of work, with an understanding of professional and personal life balance • competitive wages dependent on experience and training • casual and fun office environment • benefit package after 3 months Experienced Bookkeeper (Full/PT) • A minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience • Understanding and proficiency related to accounting programs including Sage 50 and QuickBooks Online • Strong skills using Excel and other common Microsoft Office suite programs • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices • Excellent time-management, organizational, communication and analytical skills • The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently, and comfortable working in an open office environment • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills • Able to navigate multiple and changing priorities with ease • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check Admin/Junior Bookkeeper (Full time) • A minimum of 2 years working in an office environment • Strong skills using Excel and other common Microsoft Office suite programs • Aptitude for numbers and ability to think critically • Excellent time-management, organizational, communication and analytical skills • The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently, and comfortable working in an open office environment • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills • Able to navigate multiple and changing priorities with ease • Some previous experience and/or training in Sage/Quickbooks online
