Belgian Malinois x German Shepherd female puppy

Sweet little Tansy is looking for her match! This is not a stroll around your neighbourhood nor hang out on your farm kind of dog. This is a hike up Mount Washington after winning that Agility trial, swimming across the lake, and locating four people buried in an avalanche kind of dog, with enough spunk left over for a good game of tug. Kidding: we don't know if she likes snow. And it appears that Malinois drive has been tempered by a splash of German Shepherd. Approx. 4 months old. Active, bold, intelligent, fun, clever, agile, determined, biddable. Tansy will be a wonderful companion for someone who loves Dog Sports (even just for fun) or is an avid, active outdoors person who will challenge her mind as well as give her adequate exercise. Loves everyone but not suitable for a family with young children. Looking for someone who has time to commit to her and trains using humane, positive reinforcement/reward-based methods. Tansy was dumped at a B.C. shelter, so we know very little of her history, but she must have had a good start to life. Adoption fee will be the cost of her spay. Spay date to be discussed with adopter. Vet checked, Vaccinated, including Rabies. Dewormed. Microchipped. Working on house training. Crate trained. Good in a vehicle. No signs of separation anxiety. Still jumpy and mouthy, but has greatly improved! Wants to be near her people but not cuddly. Independent enough to entertain herself but incredibly trainable. Loves to play fetch and tug, but not obsessively. Would love to live with a well socialised dog who sets boundaries with her, but fine on her own. Loves and wants to approach all people (we're working on self-regulation). Would likely chase cats, but young enough to learn to live with them. In a foster home on Bell McKinnon Rd, just north of Duncan. Regular application process including phone call and home visit required before you meet her. We are looking for the right match for her.
