The responsibilities of the Sales Representative will be to report to the General Manager and act as a liaison with customers and distributors in Eastern USA.
The ideal candidate works well independently and within a team. Strong attention to detail and well developed communication skills and organization is a must. a multi-tasker who is computer literate with programs such as Maximizer, Power Point, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF. Must possess excellent letter writing skills, be self-motivated with initiative.
You need to be a conscientious self-starter and looking for a long term career with a company that is a leader in its industry.
Responsibilities:
Respond to all communications from Distributors and Customers, Be able to travel and attend trade shows and are familiar with distributor networks
Take ownership of new projects either from initial contact made through the Regional Manager or directly from the potential customer base.
Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner compliant with Company standards.
Prepare and assemble marketing packages for Trade shows and meetings.
Qualifications:
High School education, post-secondary education and or equivalent experience
Technical background an asset, especially in refrigeration, lighting or supermarket industry.
Proven track record in sales and service would be preferred
Knowledge of MS office applications
Excellent inter-personal skills, self-motivated, able to work under minimum supervision
Must be highly organized, able to meet strict deadlines
Proven experience in sales business
