My parents were friends with him and his wife, and they dragged me over there for visits until I was about 15. He was an artist and author, and did a lot of work for the Royal Ontario Museum. His prints are still selling today, although I don't know who is profiting from them, he died in 2012 with no living family. He also wrote many articles for Reader' Digest, and illustrated and co-wrote a children's book. He was called one of Canada's most renowned wildlife illustrators. The subject is "Pook", my parents dog. He drew it from a photo that I may still have somewhere. (Actually, Pook started off at the Odums, but their cats would not allow her to stay.) The frame is 20 inches wide by 26 tall, and the drawing is 12 by 16 inches. It was drawn in 1983.
